We know it's been a while since our last blog, we got taken up by summer starting! And speaking of...
Summer is here, and that means pops of color! What better time to do a blog about the different color trends for 2023?
We have been watching all of the latest colors, and this year's trends bring inspiration from
nature, calm and serene. Who doesn't love the sounds of that? These colors range from dusty blues and delicate greens to grounded earth tones. Let's check them out, shall we?
1. Nature-Inspired Greens
Greens will add a spin to the classics, but work as a new neutral anchor for indoor spaces. Sage Green is a big hit right now, as it's so versatile. These colors work well with wood and other natural elements. Not to mention, natural greens help us to refocus and make us feel grounded. Exactly what we need in 2023. One of our favorites below is the Evergreen Fog from Sherwin Williams.

Top green colors to watch for:
Benjamin Moore: Fernwood Green, October Mist, and High Park
Sherwin Williams: Evergreen Fog, Rosemary, Cucuzza Verde, and Basque Greens
PPG: Olive Sprig
Glidden's: Guacamole
Valspar: Blanched Thyme
2. Warm Linens and Whites
Another one of our favorites this year is the clean neutral colors that make a space feel organized. This trend aligns well with minimalism aesthetics. Grays and blues are now being swapped for creamy whites and beiges. Whites will be seen a lot in entries and hallways to connect the spaces in a home. Below is one of our absolute favorite whites and beiges, Alabaster and Accessible Beige from Sherwin Williams.
Popular neutrals and whites:
Benjamin Moore: Steam, Natural Linen, and Morning Dew
Sherwin Williams: Accessible Beige, Shoji White, Beige, High Reflective White, and Alabaster
Valspar: Gilded Linen and Subtle Peach
3. Bright Yellows
So far we've discussed more muted colors, so it may come as a surprise that bright yellows are also a popular color in 2023. With retro styles coming back, a pop of yellow color or pastels can create that modern playful look on that retro style. Now that we are spending more time at home, we are looking for our home to encompass happiness, what better color to do so?

Popular yellow tones:
Benjamin Moore: Pale Moon (pictured above)
Sherwin Williams: Chartreuse and Peace Yellow
Valspar: Country Charm and Delightful Moon
4. Reimagined Blues
While we've seen blues before, this year we'll see softer blues and iridescent blues. This year, blues are reimagined to display carefree confidence and encourage creativity. With everything we've been through in the last few years, blues are meant to help us embrace the ever-changing reality and open us up to new opportunities.

5. Muted Grays
Grays are elegant and balanced and give a warmer alternative to classic whites and neutrals. Grays work well with natural elements and accents. Muter grays can be balanced with other neutrals and natural materials to create a coordinated look that feels modern and timeless. A common reason we are seeing these colors trend in 2023.
