Hi all! Wow has it been awhile. Sorry this blog post is so delayed, as we try to navigate life with a now TODDLER. Not sure how that happened...
Okay, enough about our main gig. Let's dig into why you really are here. 2025. What's the latest? Well let's cover 10 trends you are likely to see in 2025, shall we?
10 interior trends you will see in 2025
Wall Trim
Ah yes, the glorious wall trim. This has actually really picked up steam the last two years, especially the picture frame trim (we love an easy DIY). Truly, this is such a great one. It always adds so much to the space. We tried this one in our last home, in our hallway. Regardless, trim your heart away; this one here is here to stay!

Wallpapered Ceilings
This one is a TAD wild, but I have been hearing of wallpaper picking up more steam lately. Lots of friends have inquired with me on it. I can see it, with the easy peel and stick now a days it makes sense. It was already growing in 2024, so I could see it expanding more in 2025. Just do me a favor, REALLY love it before you stick it to the wall.

Less Beige
I feel like we can all agree to this one. While beige won't disappear (it's always a classic), a lot of designs are leaning toward bold and richer colors. First, it was cabinetry, but now we see moody rooms that are more the vibe. The above room can speak for that also!
Detailed Countertops
For a while, white was on the rise, with subtle veining. I don't see that fully going away, but now there is a shift to more veining, detailed edges, and cutouts. They might be minimal, but they can make an impact!

Rich Saturated Colors
This one has stuck around for awhile, or at least crept up in 2024. It'll be back in 2025. Personally, I like this touch. It's a way to really define a unique space but not over do it.

Natural Materials
Natural materials have been a growing trend, and personally, I hope it continues to stay. Using materials like stone, wood, clay, and greenery can really add so much character to a space. That homey and comfortable feeling is really what we should all strive for, right?

Gallery Walls
These had some popularity a bit ago, but now I predict they will be back. I mean, really not sure why they even left. They can add so much to a space!

Minimalist and Maximalist
Reading trends, it looks like some are saying minimalism is on the rise, while others are saying maximalism is. Speaking of maximalism, it doesn't mean clutter but more bold choices, for example, in tile, wall paper, patterns, etc. Really, for me, this seems like a preference. YOU CHOOSE!
Darker Wood
Oak hype is still here to stay, and really I love it so I hope so. But darker woods are starting to pick up steam in kitchen choices, cabinetry and furniture. Personally I like mixing different woods so I'm here for it.

Cozy Cottage
So I got asked a lot (especially when we built our modern farmhouse look): Will this just be a fad? I want to clarify. For me, fads will come and go. But if it's something you know you'll LOVE for years to come, then choose it. Just because it's not popular doesn't mean it won't circle around again. That being said, in comes the cozy cottage vibe.
Building off the farmhouse trend of ship lap and white and black choices, vibes are now transitioning to more cozy cottage interiors. Materials like stone, warm woods, and warmer kitchens with vintage pieces are becoming popular in 2025.

That's your top trends heading into 2025. As always, these are just recommendations. Design is an art, and should be followed to what you gravitate toward! So if you like that farmhouse look with wallpaper. GO FOR IT. We encourage you to channel your inner design self to express who you are in your home. After all, it's your space. You have to love it every day!
Hope your 2025 continues to be bright!
